The Eastern & Oriental Express will return to service in February after a four-year gap.

Belmond’s luxury train carries passengers over four days between Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, stopping at Kuala Lumpur, Butterworth and Kanchanaburi.

The train will launch two new seasonal journeys departing from Singapore and travelling through Malaysia with the Essence of Malaysia (November to February) and Wild Malaysia (March to October).

The renewed service, bookable now, will be on trains with restyled interiors, elevated on board experiences, and journeys encompassing culture, gastronomy, architecture and the arts.

Belmond has a worldwide portfolio of hotels and trains along with river cruises and safaris. Following its first acquisition of Hotel Cipriani in Venice in 1976, Belmond now has 47 properties across 28 countries and territories.
