The world’s first continuous residential cruise, Villa Vie Odyssey, will set sail on 15 May 2024 – starting a voyage around the world for the next three-and-a-half years.

For less than US$99 per day for the entire voyage, travellers will explore 425 destinations, including 13 of the 14 Wonders of the World, across 147 countries and more than 100 islands.

Onboard, guests will enjoy complimentary food and alcohol, free wifi, access to a fitness centre, pool, business centre, pickleball courts, a golf simulator/pro shop and three restaurants.

Villa Vie will also host the world’s first ‘Golf Around the World’ programme, allowing golfers the opportunity to tee off anywhere from Iceland to the Scottish Highlands, from South Africa to the South Pacific.

The 480-stateroom ship will also call in at India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and ports in Africa.

The journey starts in Southampton, UK, on 15 May this year and ends at West Palm Beach, Florida on 6 December 2027. Those unable to commit to the full world cruise programme can purchase segments ranging from 35 to 120 days.

The redesigned Odyssey previously sailed as Braemar, Crown Dynasty, Cunard Crown Dynasty, Crown Majesty, and Norwegian Dynasty.

Options for the cruise include buying an onboard villa for the duration (US$99,999 inside, US$299,999 balcony) or buying segments of the journey.
