After a successful debut in 2023, Resorts World Cruises has announced
its return to Taiwan's ports, Keelung and Kaohsiung, from 12 July to 27
August 2024 on the Resorts World One.
Resorts World Cruises is geared up to offer a series of special 2, 4,
and 5 Night Cruises to Kyushu and Okinawa in Japan, featuring stops at
popular destinations like Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Sasebo, Nagasaki, Naha,
Miyakojima, and Ishigaki.
Resorts World Cruises made waves last year, revitalising Taiwan's
cruise sector and attracting a surge of inbound tourists from Hong Kong,
Macao, and Southeast Asia. The 2023 deployment set new records for
Kaohsiung Port, hosting 138 cruises and over 199,000 passengers, and
injecting over 60,000 inbound tourists into Penghu, contributing to a
tourism output value of NT$1.6 billion (US$49.6 million).
Due to overwhelming demand and support, Resorts World Cruises is
doubling down this summer with two homeports in Keelung and Kaohsiung,
offering 14 sailings to Japan's Kyushu and Okinawa Islands.
For the upcoming season, Resorts World One offers regular departures,
including 2-night cruises from Keelung and 4-night cruises from
Kaohsiung to Okinawa. The cruise line aims to make vacation planning
easy and affordable, with early bird promotions starting from NT$2,900
(US$89.90) onwards for the third guest in the same cabin.
Several highlights of Resorts World One include its complimentary
onboard Chinese restaurant and the highest ratio of Mandarin-speaking
crew in the industry that is able to cater to local travellers' needs.
