Hilton has secured a majority controlling interest in Sydell Group, signalling a transformative era for the esteemed NoMad Hotels brand. This strategic acquisition underscores Hilton’s commitment to elevating NoMad into a global beacon of luxury and sophistication.

Led by Andrew Zobler, Sydell Group had previously made a name for itself with its avant-garde hotel concepts, including the NoMad brand.

Under the stewardship of Hilton, NoMad will undergo a comprehensive rebranding, enhancing its unique charm and appeal by infusing more luxurious touches.

Sydell will continue handling NoMad's design, branding, and management, while Hilton oversees development. NoMad will be integrated into Hilton's commercial platforms. Each property remains independently owned. Hilton plans to develop up to 100 NoMad properties globally, with about 10 in advanced discussions with Sydell.

"Adding NoMad to our growing brand portfolio will create new offerings for guests seeking unique luxury experiences in some of the world’s most desirable locations,” said Chris Silcock, president of Global Brands and Commercial Services at Hilton.
