Many travellers to Singapore often find their vacation plans dampened by its frequent rainfall – approximately 171 days each year. But what if they could be compensated for rain disrupting their travel plans?

However, InterContinental Singapore has introduced an innovative solution with the "Rain Resist Bliss" package.

Promising to refund one night's stay if rain disrupts planned activities, this initiative aims to make a stay in Singapore more appealing, despite the frequent days of rain showers in the city.

Andreas Kraemer, general manager of InterContinental Singapore, revealed that the concept emerged during discussions about the next level of luxury travel.

To be eligible for reimbursement, rain must exceed 120 minutes within a 4-hour daylight block, and the offer is exclusive to suite bookings. Guests will receive a voucher equivalent to one night's stay, valid for six months.

This move highlights the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction and its strategic response to Singapore's unpredictable weather, showcasing an effort to enhance the overall experience for visitors.
