Marina Bay Sands (MBS) has implemented stricter guidelines for visiting tour groups, effective from 16 March 2024. Groups will no longer be allowed to gather or linger in areas such as the MBS Hotel lobby, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

The decision aims to enhance the guest experience and minimise disruptions within the integrated resort, according to MBS. Tour guides are also prohibited from using handheld signage, flags, or portable microphones on the property.

Instead of conducting briefings within MBS premises, tour guides are advised to do so on coaches before arrival or in public areas outside the resort. Additionally, groups visiting the SkyPark Observation Deck are directed to use the entrance located at Tower 3, rather than the hotel lobby.

MBS's advisory follows similar measures introduced by local universities to manage large tour groups visiting their premises.
