Doha’s Hamad International Airport has claimed the coveted title of
the world’s best airport, surpassing Singapore’s Changi Airport, which
held the top spot for 12 consecutive years. Skytrax’s latest rankings
for 2024 also positioned Seoul’s Incheon International Airport in third
place.
Not only did Hamad International Airport secure the title of the
World’s Best Airport, but it also clinched the top spots in the World’s
Best Airport Shopping category and as the Cleanest and Best Airport in
the Middle East.

Although Singapore Changi Airport lost its title as the World’s Best
Airport, it retained its status as the Best Airport in Asia and secured
the World’s Best Airport Immigration Service accolade. Meanwhile,
Incheon International Airport was recognised as the World’s Most
Family-Friendly Airport.
Additional notable winners in 2024 include Tokyo’s Haneda Airport as
the World’s Cleanest Airport, Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 3
for the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Terminals, and Tokyo’s Narita
International Airport for the World’s Best Airport Staff.
The aviation industry also saw recognition for various categories
such as improved airports, new terminals, exceptional dining, security,
baggage delivery, and accessible facilities.
