The Quantum of the Seas will extend its Singapore season through February 2022, marking the ship's third season extension in the city since resuming cruising in December 2020.
Earlier this year in April, Royal Caribbean International had announced an extension of Quantum's Singapore season through October 2021.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to extend Quantum’s ultimate ocean getaway through early next year, providing Singapore residents with more time to relax and unwind," said Angie Stephen, managing director, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean International.
Royal will continue to operate three- and four-night ocean getaways on Quantum. The latest season extension will open up the opportunity for Singapore residents to spend Christmas and New Year on board Quantum.
In line with the recent government regulations, Quantum currently sails at 50% guest capacity, and holidaymakers from different households have the option of travelling in groups of five.
Despite the constantly evolving circumstances, Stephen added that Quantum's vast array of activities, F&B offerings and sea views have attracted many fans in Singapore. "There continues to be an overwhelming demand for sailings," she added.
To date, Quantum has sailed more than 60 ocean getaways in Singapore and served more than 82,000 guests without any Covid-19 occurrences on board.
Plenty of features and activities await guests when Spectrum of the Seas returns to sailing in Hong Kong from 5 October.
Spectrum of the Seas restarts Hong Kong sailings in October
Royal Caribbean International’s Spectrum of the Seas will begin from Hong Kong starting 5 October 2021, instead of end-July as anticipated.

The two- to four-night Ocean Getaways sailings are now open to Hong Kong residents of Hong Kong for booking.
“The demand of travel from travellers is expected to be very strong and we are very excited to have cruise holiday back with us for both trade and tourists given the current travel restrictions,” said Jason Wong, chairman of Travel Industry Council of
Hong Kong.
On board Spectrum, Asia’s largest ship, guests will look forward to unique features such as Two70, a multi-dimensional theatre with 270-degree sea views; Seaplex, an indoor activity space with bumper cars, roller skating, and basketball; the Bionic Bar
operated by robotic bartenders; the Sky Pad, a bungee trampoline virtual reality experience.
As part of Royal Caribbean’s Cruise with Confidence programme, guests who book their vacation on Spectrum of the Seas by 31 July 2021 can change and cancel their trips up to 48 hours before the cruise sets sail from now through to 30 April 2022.
They will receive a Future Cruise Credit, which is valid for future bookings on or before 30 April 2022 for sailings departing before 30 September 2022.
