Silversea Cruises has appointed Takanobu Kobayakawa as director of sales for Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, effective December 2023. Reporting to Adam Radwanski, Silversea's Asia Pacific managing director, Kobayakawa's induction aims to continue pushing the luxury cruise line’s growth in Asia.

Takanobu Kobayakawa, armed with substantial cruise industry experience aims to lead strategic sales endeavours and nurture trade relationships within his portfolio.

"Joining Silversea is a thrilling new chapter in my career. I am looking forward to driving growth and enhancing our market presence in Asia," said Kobayakawa.

Radwanski views Kobayakawa's appointment as pivotal in the cruise line’s Asian expansion and believes his leadership “will take Silversea to new heights as Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asian countries grow their appetite for ultra-luxury cruising."
