Raves and races: Singapore’s biggest street party is back on track

The period between 30 September to 2 October doesn’t just mark the grand return of F1 to Singapore, it also celebrates the comeback of the country’s biggest street party.

The massive party will encompass 100 hours of entertainment across 92 performances. Revellers can look forward to catching Marshmello, Westlife, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas and The Kid LAROI live in-person on the nine stages spread out across the F1 circuit.

Masked DJ, Marshmello, who has performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the world, including Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Tomorrowland in Belgium and Coachella in California will entrance EDM lovers at the Padang Stage on Friday, 30 September.

On Saturday, 1 October, Westlife is set to take the Padang Stage, belting out their classic songs popular among Millennials such as Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, If I Let You Go and My Love.

American punk group, Green Day, will rock the Padang Stage on Sunday, 2 October with head-banging tracks such as American Idiot, Good Riddance, Wake Me Up When September Ends.

Black Eyed Peas will make an exclusive stopover in Singapore to perform at the Padang Stage on Saturday, 1 October and the Wharf Stage on Sunday, 2 October.

The Gen Zs will be happy to note that Australia rapper The Kid LAROI will also be hitting the Padang Stage on Sunday, 2 October.

Alongside these global sensations, the festival line-up will also feature other international and local performers, 79 roving acts and an array of art installations and activities.

All tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2022 will allow fans to enjoy the race as well as the activities and top-liner performances at the Padang Stage.
