Travel agents in Asia will need to wait a little longer before they can access a new industry booking portal being established by Australian travel company Luxury Escapes.

The booking portal, which goes live in March, will give agents access to commissionable rates for Luxury Escapes' Limited Time Exclusive offers.

In stage one, only agents in Australia and New Zealand have access to the portal, although the company said it will be working towards “all countries” in further stages.

Agents in Australia and NZ who have been purchasing Luxury Escapes limited time packages and selling to customers for zero commission, will now receive commission on products being sold.

Agents will have access to Luxury Escapes’ hotel products, as well as its bespoke tour and cruise product.

“We've always loved the trade and the ability to work with literally thousands of agents across Australia at scale is hugely exciting for us,” says co-founder and CEO of Luxury Escapes, Adam Schwab.

“The launch of our new industry portal allows us to give access to agents to our very best product and importantly, pay agents for the incredible work they do helping customers every single day.”

Founded in Australia in 2013, Luxury Escapes has more than eight million members globally who can access tailor-made experiences on everything from accommodation to excursions, flights, travel insurance and car hire.
