Marriott and Singapore Airlines join forces for elite perks

Marriott Bonvoy and KrisFlyer members will now enjoy more perks and faster ways to earn rewards, thanks to a closer collaboration between Marriott International and Singapore Airlines (SIA).

Starting immediately, eligible members from both loyalty programmes can match their status and quickly reach higher elite levels. This builds upon an earlier announcement allowing points and miles transfers between Marriott Bonvoy and KrisFlyer.

John Toomey, chief sales and marketing officer (Asia Pacific, excluding China) at Marriott International, shared that this expanded partnership with Singapore Airlines means its members can get more out of their travels across Marriott’s global network of nearly 8,700 hotels and resorts.

Dai Haoyu, acting senior vice president marketing planning at Singapore Airlines, said that this “allows KrisFlyer members to unlock even greater benefits, while enjoying more ways to earn and redeem their points and miles”

This partnership offers elite members from both programmes equal privileges. Moreover, eligible members can quickly move up to higher tiers by flying with SIA or staying at Marriott Bonvoy hotels.

The collaboration aims to meet the changing needs of travellers, providing more benefits, easier ways to earn rewards, and a smoother travel experience. More details about these perks will be shared soon.
