The Indonesian government has stepped up its quest to attract global talents and investors through a soon-to-be launched ‘golden visa’ programme.

Authorities hope to entice talent to the country by offering longer stay permits.

Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno told media that the golden visa could be a “game changer” in Indonesia’s efforts to attract more foreign workers and investors.

“The golden visa is a new policy that will attract quality talents, including digital nomads and entrepreneurs, to invest in Indonesia,” the minister said.
