The Globus family of brands (GFOB) has chosen Holiday Tours & Travel Group (HTT) as its exclusive distributor for the Asia region (excluding Hong Kong) starting from 1 March 2024. Hong Kong will continue to be represented by the current general sales agent (GSA) as an independent market.
Comprising luxury river cruise line Avalon Waterways and escorted coach touring companies Globus and Cosmos, GFOB aims to strengthen its presence in Asia by consolidating distribution through HTT, based in Singapore.
This strategic move is expected to enhance brand awareness and drive sales growth in key markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, and the Philippines.
According to Gai Tyrrell, managing director Asia Pacific for Globus family of brands, the collaboration aims for increased efficiencies and substantial sales growth in the region.
HTT's managing director, Duncan Choo, shared that the company “will be raising brand awareness of the Avalon Waterways, Globus and Cosmos brands and supporting our trade partners to discover the benefits of selling Globus family of brands product.”
As part of the partnership, GFOB is actively seeking a regional marketing manager in Singapore and has appointed sales leads in each region.
