Introduction and History

This cruise liner entered service in 2006, and its sister ship, Emerald Princess, followed a year later, with Ruby Princess joining in 2008.

Built by Italian shipyard Fincantieri, Crown Princess weighs 113,561 tons, is 952 feet long and cruises at 21.5 knots. The 3,080 passengers (at double occupancy capacity) are looked after by 1,200 international crewmembers. Officers are British and Italian.
