Contiki, the social travel brand for 18-35s under The Travel Corporation, introduces its inaugural trip to the Philippines, named Philippines Island Hopping.

Offering a whirlwind exploration of the country's top destinations in under two weeks, this trip comes in two versions: a 9-day itinerary covering Puerto Princesa, Port Barton, and El Nido, and a 13-day excursion, Philippines Island Hopping Trip with Boat Expedition, featuring an extra sea safari to the Coron Islands.

Both itineraries boast island adventures such as cruising through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Subterranean River National Park, island hopping in Port Barton, a Jeepney ride to Nacpan Beach, and a unique Special Stay experience at Isla Experience in Daracoton Island, contributing directly to the local community.

The optional 4-day Boat Expedition unveils hidden treasures like Palawan Calamian's Group of Islands and famed spots such as Coron islands, Cullion, and Linapacan, with snorkelling in Coral Garden, seaside camping in Coron, and a visit to Turtle Islands.

Included experiences range from a tricycle ride to Las Cabanas for a beach sunset to a traditional boodle fight and a home-cooked Filipino meal, offering an authentic taste of local life.

Contiki simplifies exploring the Philippines, which could a challenge for solo travellers to navigate, by covering internal flights, boat transfers, accommodation, and various meals.

Adam Armstrong, CEO at Contiki, remarked. “The Philippines is a major in demand destination for travellers worldwide, particularly those from the Gen-Z demographic. We're thrilled to now be satisfying that demand, on a trip that makes visiting the Philippines so very easy - and fun too.”

Taryn Welsh, operations director, Asia at Contiki, highlights the meticulous planning to showcase the best of the Philippines' beaches, marine adventures, and culture. Following a rigorous selection process, Contiki invited a group of past travellers to preview the trip and offer feedback. “We hope to visit many more destinations in Asia in the coming years,” he added.
