BWH Hotel Group has entered an agreement with ARBT Property Group to launch its Executive Residency by Best Western (Executive Residency), an extended stay brand in Australasia.

Executive Residency Woolloongabba will be the first property to open under the new brand in Q4 this year. It will be situated 2km away from Brisbane’s central business district at 55 Carl Street, within walking distance to the Gabba Cricket Grounds.

The 51-apartment property in Woolloongabba will offer extended stay options for both leisure and business travellers. The 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom residences are designed with a home-away-from-home experience in mind, with the use of natural light, modern design, and spacious living areas. Facilities within the property include a lap pool and 24-hour gym.

The Executive Residency Woolloongabba is being constructed by ARBT Prefab’s own prefabricated building system that enables the property’s rooms and residences to be built offsite to 90% completion. It will then take a course of one to two days per level to install these pre-built rooms at site.

BWH and ARBT collectively plan to open new build hotels across Australia and New Zealand over the next few years. After the Executive Residency Woolloongabba opens in end 2022, the partners are set to announce details regarding additional projects, locations and BWH brands already in the pipeline including the opening of the second Aiden by Best Western in Q1 2023.

“Our new partnership with ARBT Property Group will allow BWH Hotel Group to drive growth and fast track new brands throughout Australasia,” said Graham Perry, BWH’s managing director, Australasia. “Together we can champion the diversity of the BWH brand portfolio and make a big impact on the accommodation landscape throughout the region”.

Executive Residency amenities include a kitchenette complete with cooktop, sink, microwave and refrigerator; high-speed Wi-Fi; dedicated zones for sleeping, dining, work and relaxation; and outdoor green spaces. The brand’s studios and suites are designated for longer stay guests.
